Ok I get that the beauty is totally subjective to everyone but it is a quality that everything either has or doesn't have. It is the harmony and beat of music or the splendor of an image or work. There is music that is ugly, right? - what beauty is in ugliness? When we say (maybe) I will only have beauty and shutout ugly is that even possible? - without ugly there can not be the counterpart beauty. When the average sounds become ugly what more beyond these can there be? -- in the poll "What quality of beauty is most important for you in your life?" it is open to many interpretations but yeah we are all in this reality and aware of the things in it that we have found "useful." are they beautiful too. Is form and function and beauty all possible at once?

I am making a list of beautiful things and ugly things, to know why they are what they are. beautiful or ugly. it is the why that makes me wonder. not just why is the "new sky - today" in the blue hue usually? Science tells me.. the light equations and the section of the EM spectrum that is activated that, and we can see blue right? but what makes this color have meaning. -and in an ontological sense, how do we decide this meaning or even meaning of anything? Things are defined for reference right? like blue .. it can span across all of our senses till it loses all its qualities of blue. It is when the definitions blur specially between cultures that new definitions are needed. Maybe?

I am an artist of things.. I like to think I am designing realities that please me. and they do. what -if any- is the quality of these things and their importance, we all note that things we do have our unique qualities why? And why are my works that I make so easy for me to identify?

In Changing the qualities of the realites I want to experience, I may become obsessed with them.. and need grounding--- Kinda like I become unreal of sorts. where is my ground? Or what is the Truth

Anyhow I am just starting the TOS series again .. from the beginning of the third season first and was perplexed by questions about this. -- The beauty idea.

Well yeah it said that thru the whole episode on the bottom of the monitor..

It’s the part where they part in the end I posted above, that had me “think” of this question and Idea,..I figured a person on trekbbs would of seen the Mudd and Norman logic ideas,, where “Everything I type is a lie. I am lying.” Sort of problem, such with the ideas in beauty and logic out of control. Next step what does or doesn’t beauty mean,..or what is beauty pleasing,, to? I then thought it would make for a good poll and thread about ideas of this,.

And yet you typed "Is There NO Truth IN Beauty?" And your thread and questions seem to derive from that backwards manifestation.
Asking whether there is some beauty in Truth, which is often described as "cruel" "cold" or "harsh," is a different question altogether.
