I am curious as to what if anything my fellow BBS'ers collect? Me, I collect Star Trek Models, Star Wars Models, but mostly old, rare, and hard to find comic books. Some anime related merchindise, What about you?

Anything Detroit Red Wings/Steve Yzerman, Sailor Moon, Resident Evil, coins, retro cartoons, X-Men stuff (particularly Storm figures).

Yeah, dust, sounds like me all right...

Can't say that I collect anything -I am a collector though: if not careful I would end up collecting any sort of weird stuff: toys, antiques, kitchenware, posters, paintings... anything really.

I do have a lot of films and tv series on discs, but that's hardly collecting.

I don't really collect anything anymore. When I was growing up I did collect Star Trek magazines, like the TV guides that featured Star Trek, any books, or print media, or posters, which featured Star Trek.

I also use to collect license plates, I had them hung on the wall in my room, had a lot of states, sadly I don't know where all those went, it was a long time ago when I was a kid.

I don't really collect anything anymore, if anything I'm in an efficiency phase right now. The exact opposite of a pack rat. I am trying to compact, reduce and eliminate clutter, being as minimal as I can.

My clothes & shoes have gone way beyond essential need and while all of it (well, most of it) is used regularly, many other people would classify it as a collection.

I also have a burgeoning, though still fairly modest, wine cellar which I guess also qualifies as a collection. Again though, since it will all be actively used at some stage, I'm not convinced it should be defined as such.

I don't really like the concept of a collection, to be honest, if it's something that's never used & enjoyed.

Rubber ducks. Here is a photo of a small part of my collection.

Aper from these I mainly only collect books and DVDs.

Books, mostly. Genre fiction, Pulp reprints, comics, fiction magazines, cartoon collections, Astronomy, Paleontology, History and various and sundry other topics. Also, many magazines, from Analog and Asimov's to Rolling Stone and Science News. I also have a large collection of DVDs and of music on CD, Cassette and, yes, even 8-Track. Come to think of it, I even still have three LPs. :D

I collect World War 2 diecast airplanes (mostly 1:72 scale), movie memorabilia, movie art books and soundtracks.

I also collect and play miniature strategy games like, Dungeons & Dragons miniatures, Axis & Allies miniatures and Mechwarrior. In the past I've collected (and played) Star Trek the customizable card game and The Lord of the Rings card game (both by Decipher).

Scars.

You too?

I collect duckies too! http://misskiratoys.blogspot.com/2008/02/rubber-duckie-youre-one.html Where did you find the Darth Duckie? I want one.

I also collect dolls, though I haven't really bought any in a while. Mostly Madame Alexander and American Girl, and I collected Gene until they went to another company. They're not as nice and they're more expensive now, so I don't bother.

I have enough Star Trek Hallmark ornaments to decorate a tree every Christmas:

Mostly:
Tactical flashlights
Multi-tools
*other* tools

and...

to a lesser extent, laser pointers (I'd love to get a blue beam laser when the prices come down to earth)
