Not as many novels/books as others here. But a personal highlight was the Legacies Trilogy. Captain Una was a refreshing character. I was very pleased with the Jatohr solution and Sarek's involvement as well as Joanna McCoy's.

    Are the witcher novels good?
I have read that the translation isn't great.
I am playing the witcher 3 game and think it's great, so I am curious about the novels.

Definitely, and they will enrich your experience of the game.

Translation is a bit wonky for the first few, but I found that gave them a bit of charm - it felt more like a strange realm as everyone spoke a little oddly.

It's worth at least trying the short story compilations (The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny) to see if you want to give the whole saga a go.
