What Did You Have For Dinner?

An interesting question...what did you have? I've been eating in a most unusual and random cycle over the last couple of weeks because I am house and cat sitting and as I've mentioned in a couple other threads trying to loose weight. So I pretty much eat dinner when I want to and it's been early in the evening. Anyways I made my self some chicken souvlaki on panini bread for dinner. Had two of them with a couple cans of Coke. They were great. Not really sure what I'm planning to have tonight.

I don't really remember.. I think it was some sort of canned food. Don't know what I'll be having tonight, but I'm sure it'll be awesome. Maybe brisket or an olive dish or maybe bean dish. I don't know what they are serving.

peking duck with homemade egg fried rice oh and fries (it was my partners turn to cook)

Oh I had a can of chili that didn't have beans. Not a fan.

That reminds of me a funny story. I remember one time I was at a baseball game in Seattle and I got some nachos and they asked if I wanted any chili. So I said, "Of course, green" because I thought he had asked if I wanted chile not chili. The man was so very confused. Of course I was even more confused when I got chili on my nachos.

True story.

I fixed my "feeds an army" salad, which in actuality, feeds 3, but generously.

I had fish, okras, corn on the cob and fruit punch to drink. For dessert, I had the last piece of a Bounty bar that someone gave me.

I had leftover ribs and wings from Swiss Chalet. Plus some carrots and celery. Good stuff.

We had double filet of chicken breast with Moroccan couscous stuffing served with mashed potatoes, corn and peas.

Hummus and pita chips with water.

Today (July 4) is going to be salmon, rice, salad, and corn on the cob.

Hubby's getting off of work soon and we're having a quiet evening.

And making sure the guys with bottle rockets down the street don't catch a house on fire.

Do you make the hummus yourself? And if so, do you have a good recipe? I've wanted to learn to make hummus for awhile now, but don't want to experiment with all the different recipes online because my husband's not a huge fan so I'd end up having to eat it all myself.

I had pizza for dinner last night. I spent the whole day finishing up moving, and I was too tired to cook.

Today, I had miso soup with ramen noodles in it. It was really good, but not as good as it is with udon noodles.

Tonight I had a wonderful 4th of July feast: Fried chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob, baked beans and key lime pie. Did I mention the fried chicken?

We got french fries from Burger King... just to get the Transformers scratch n' win tickets for free crap :D I love free food!

My Mom and I ate together tonight...grilled 2 T-Bone steaks and had those and onion rings (baked, not deep fried) and a salad.
