What are your most consistent typos?

'Cancelled' is British, i.e. the correct way. ;)

Really? Well that's how I always spell it. Does this mean I'm now going to have to start use spellings like "favour" and "colour" and "honour" as well? :)

Lots of interesting feedback on that, thanks. I'm glad it's not just me losing my mind. It's something I only started noticing quite recently. I really have always thought that "cancelled" was the right way, and will likely continue to use that.

On the subject of words, not typos, I want to pummel anyone who uses "irregardless". Definitely a huge pet peeve. :klingon:

I seem to type "becasue" a lot when what I mean is "because". Also "form" instead of "from", and when typing in long numbers on the keypad I tend to drop zeroes, which is kind of annoying.

Worst of all is missing backspace, resuil;tyinr ===-====--lting in lots of equals signs and minus signs.
I've been known to do this one, too.

More embarrassing? "Untied States" -- it doesn't get picked up by spell check and, um, I work for the federal government.

the - teh
and - adn
then - than
thats - thast
forget "n't" in shouldn't, doesn't and wouldn't
and i sometimes manage to use the swedish "ä" istead of the ' . iäve (i've), youäve (you've) but thats just because its just next to it.

bloody annoying that i can't learn to spell correctly after studying english for more then ten years.

And when someone call me on it, Hey "That how it's spelled in Spanish."

Independence....which I often write as "independance"...I'm just burning, doing the Indepen-Dance!

Fascist was one I used to get wrong...facist. People who judge everything at face value?
