What are you doing to make a Star Trek future possible?

I've interned for politicians whose policies I think are the best -- and that tends to equal the Star Trek ideal, I think.

I am working on a novel which I will distribute electronically, thus not killing trees for paper and saving the planet.

< Doing John F. Kennedy impersonation >

"Ask not what Star Trek can do for you... but what you can do for Star Trek."

Well, although I have a Driving Licence, I still don't own a car and (within reason) get to work by public transport, bycycle or by foot. I recycle as much as possible. It should be group effort, but only a minority are currently making a sacrifice because Governments don't force people.

Studying law so that I can sue anyone breaking the copyright laws on Trek Tech.

I'm only kidding. Studying law so that I can go to the senate and get NASA more funding.

Ok lets see, by the year 2100+ theres going to be that many people on the Earth there wont be no where near enough food to feed everyone and then lets take into account the increase in life expectancy as new medical technology is developed further fueling over population. The world we live in NOW is the closest we're going to get to a Eutopia so i'd savour it if I were you because its only downhill from here.

My position is if you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem. So what are you doing as a person to bring a future like Star Trek into reality?

As a genuine, 21st-century human being, I'm part of the problem.

If we really want a Star Trek utopia someone better develop some really good brainwashing techniques so noone is ever selfish or mean anymore and also we'd have to build big concentration camps where we can put religious people and people who oppose a world goverment

Digging out a basement for the Trek House over here...

In the year 2079, the Iron Horse APC carries the building blocks of recovery and Vulcan first contact to a endless variety of civillizations in a Post-Atomic America.

You need a Third World War or a major catastrophe to bring numbers down before Star Trek's future could be possible.

What have I done to you!?? :D It's no big deal to attack my state, first. Now, you want to put me in a concentration camp!! I think you have a mistaken impression of us folks out here! :D

Oh don't worry it's nothing personal :)

Just saying what's needed to achieve a Star Trekian utopia :D
