I am going to be doing some presentations and also some teaching at different locations and want to buy a portable projector. I am hoping that I can eventually bring this projector with me overseas to Europe – meaning I prefer for it to be dual voltage (I’ll be using an adapter). Does anyone have any suggestions on an affordable and lightweight projector? I am hoping to not only be able to plug flash drives into the projector, but possibly even my laptop. I am also envisioning that I will end up having to use this projector to project images onto a wall at times vs. on a screen (especially when I am in Europe).
I found this one on-line for $799 (I don’t know if I can hook up my laptop to it). It is more than I prefer to spend, but I saw that it has good ratings. I’m finding this search a little confusing, especially since I don’t know anything about lumens, aspect ratios, and the different types of resolution. In fact, I didn’t understand a lot of info in the review of the $799 projector that I mentioned above!
