What a difference some detergent makes!

A while back my mom bought me some dishwasher detergent -part of a slew of items as a moving-in gift for my new apartment. It was some knock-off cheap stuff. Well I used it up recently and bought some Cascade little plastic capulets that you put in the machine. Holy cow! My dishes have never been so clean. And all this time I just thought the machine sucked.

Well, it still sucks, but my dishes are so much cleaner now.

Thanks, Cascade! :does a freeze-frame jump:

I'm a big fan of cascade complete. Cleans my dishes nice and doesn't leave a haze.

Don't forget the jet-dry.

Yeah, I need to get some more of that stuff.

The Cascade Complete is what I have, and I just used the first one out of it and was stunned how clean my glasses came out. I don't think they've looked that good since I first bought them!

Yes, the stuff is amazing.

Of all the grocery stores in my area though, only 1 carries the Complete, the rest just carry regular Cascade. God knows why.

We use Cascade Complete, too. Hubby read some article in magazine (Consumer's Report, I think?) that it was the best one for the price.

I think it really does the job well. I used to buy the really cheap store brands, but it tended to be a bit weak, so I'd end up using twice as much.
