Well guys, I am totally caught up on LOST, seen every episode now

Last night I finished Season 4, just went on a marathon and watched 7 episodes in a row to get it done, didn't go to bed until 8 AM this morning

I have now seen every episode of LOST. For those that don't know, I had recently decided (about 3 weeks ago) to go ahead and watch Episode 1 of Season 1 on ABC's website for the first time. I had not seen LOST at all before that because I didn't think it was for me, or something I'd like, not really knowing much about it. So 3 weeks ago I took the plunge and watched the first episode, basically cause I just wanted to see how the plane crashed. I was immediately hooked! I've been watching around 4 episodes a night for past 3 weeks now. ABC has all the episodes online, and in the HD format it is very good quality for streaming video. I love this show, one of my favorites now!

After having finished Season 4 now one of the main mysteries for me is Christian. He seems to be popping up a LOT lately! Whenever Jacob/The Island whatever needs to talk to someone its been coming in the form of Christian a lot recently. He came to Michael, he came to Clair, he came to John, he is popping up everywhere. Then when you couple the fact that Clair went off with him into the Cabin, and was right there when John came in to talk to Jacob, it really makes you wonder what Christian's role is in everything, why is the island choosing HIM to appear as? And now Clair is with him/it? Is she dead, alive, who knows, but we know she came in the form of a dream to Kate. Everyone is seeing Christian these days, it has to mean something.

I rented the first season on a Sunday and then couldn't stop...about 3 episodes every night.

Tell me, did you have Lost dreams? I kept having dreams where I ruminate on the mysteries. It happens if you watch too many episodes in a day!

Wow, Brent. I'm really impressed. I can't imagine watching the whole thing in 3 weeks!

I'm catching up too, but I've been at it a while longer than 3 weeks!

I'm torn...because if I caught up, I'd be able to post in this forum instead of just lurking in the few threads I think I might be able to avoid spoilers in.

But I'm not sure I want to condense the whole thing into such a short period of time. I kinda like being able to watch a 'new' episode whenever I like, rather than sitting around waiting for it to air every week.

I not good with sitting around and waiting for cliffhangers to resolve. It's why I stopped watching 24 after about 3 seasons. HATED sitting around and waiting for the next episode - and especially so when they would take those long hiatus breaks. Those were a killer.

And see, if I don't catch up on LOST, I'll never have to deal with long breaks.

How's that for a rationale?

Anyway, I'm somewhere in the second half of season 3, have season 4 on DVD, and have been recording season 5. So I figure I'm golden for new episodes for quite some time.
