Weird thing I noticed yesterday

I noticed a very odd thing yesterday that I honestly can't explain. Didn't know if I should put it under the Science & Tech section, but I figured I'd get a greater cross-section of (hopefully quasi-mature) opinions here.

I was on my way out to the parking lot to my car. It was the end of the day yesterday (August 30), almost exactly 5:30 pm EDT, getting ready to go home. I noticed a bizarre, fast-moving blobby shadow across the asphalt. Like the kind of shadow that would be cast by steam or smoke escaping a chimney. It lasted for about 2-3 seconds. Curious what caused it, I looked up and I saw --- nothing ---. No birds, no planes, no chimneys, not even a single cloud in the sky could explain what created this almost unnoticeable shadow. It just seemed completely bizarre to me as I could not, for the life of me, figure out what might have caused what I saw and I'm curious if anyone else noticed it too. It's probably nothing, but I thought I'd give a shout out.

It was probably a stroke or some lingering effect from LSD or something. Or maybe it was a UFO or a secret government prototype activating it's invisibility shield. Nah, probably a stroke. You feeling okay?

It could have been an invisible carnivorous aggressive armada that goes by the name of the Vashta Nerada.

Sometimes shadows disengage themselves from living things and go on killing sprees. You're lucky to be alive.

Maybe an early warning sign that the Sun's going to explode soon.

Or, maybe it was a high altitude vapor pocket of chlorine eating the ozone layer.

Or, maybe the jet stream occluded the Sun at that moment.

Just guessing.

It must have something to do with quantum. Star Trek has taught me that every problem has quantum to blame.

Yep. I noticed an odd visual disturbance on the ground at that time yesterday in spite of me being several hundred miles away from where you are and, well, me not being you.

Odd visual disturbances can be caused by any number of reasons. If it was a hot day outside where you were it may have been heat refraction if all of the angles and lighting of you, the sun, and the ground were just right. You could have aging eyes that can cause minor, normal, visual disturbances in your field of vision (usually seen as floating dark spots in your vision), depending on your age you could be developing cataracts, depending on your health you may have been having a simple partial seizure, depending on your stance and participation of narcotics or use of prescribed medication it could have been a side-effect of that.

It literally could have been anything. Anything aside from a national or even global phenomenon that effected people enough to the point where there was a shared experience of seeing an odd shadow on the ground at a specific time of day.

^^^ Thx much! No, aside from a small bout of high blood sugar (which is now under control), my doctor tells me I'm the picture of health. No strokes or seizures, nor is there a history of any of that in the family, and believe it or not, other than the occasional indulgence in spirits and the inevitable aspirin to follow, I've never dabbled in pharmaceutical research.

Well, I'm glad someone else saw it at the same time, and far enough away to place the phenomenon (likely) in the upper atmosphere at the closest, and out in space between us and the sun at the farthest. I've been looking at various news sources and science sites and nobody's mentioned anything. Must have been a non-issue if something really did happen.

Sarcasm. It's a difficult concept.

Just residual shadows of fallen angels as they're released from the Pit to wreak their havoc on Earth in The Last Days. Nothing to be concerned about, things are really getting better. As you were..........
