Wednesday is my Friday

Due to my stupid hours of working only 3 days Monday through Wednesday, I have a weekend of four days.

Of course, I'd rather have a full workweek, but that's what I got at my job for now.

Anybody else have a short work week?

If so, I raise my 24oz can of beer to you.

I have been averaging 1.5 hours of work per week for the last 5 months. It is for this reason that I am broke and moving back to my old job.

My old weekend used to be Tuesday-Wednesday because Fridays and Saturdays were our busy nights.

I stopped doing wedding planning awhile ago, I only have two more weeks of part-time work, and then we have a week to move downtown. Once there I'll have class T-Th which means Monday, Friday, and weekends off. I'm hoping I can pick up part time work for the university as either a tour guide or writing tutor, just to make a few dollars here and there, at least until I figure out research or something more "serious".

I always get excited about time off, but after about one day I just start to get bored and want to go back to work.

I could never get bored enough to actually want to work; too many projects, too many books, too many DVDs, too many walks to take. I wish I could afford to work three days a week.

I don't work a short week (and in fact I do something for work every day), but my normal schedule is Tuesday - Saturday.

So Saturday is my Friday, etc.

try being a mom. you'll work 24/7. the pay isn't much to write home about though.

I work more than usual, not less. I have a full-time job of 40 hours a week, where I work Thursday to Monday (with Tues and Wed as my days off). Then, I'm working part-time about 10 hours a week. Right now I'm working Monday - Thursday. So technically, I have zero days off. I'm working somewhere, in some capacity, every day.

Considering I only get one and a half days of work this week, most of the week has already been my Friday.

My normal sked runs Sunday-Wednesday, with Sunday being a double. I probably would have left by now were it not for the 3-day weekend. Two days never cut it for me anyway.
But lately it's been OT, so this is my first day off in a couple of weeks. Not that it interfered with my TrekBBS posting or anything...
