Website Promotion

Honestly, the best way to market your site is to go to other sites in the same market niche, especially those that have community features (forums, etc.) and become a member, contribute to that community, and drop the occasional plug for your own site.

You want to advertise without being really obvious about it.

It depends on what your website is. If it's the cashcrate business in your sig... uh, I dunno. Why wouldn't I just go to them directly?

Because I get 20% of what you make. Same as if you would have someone join under you. That's why I want to find some way to advertise it. I have found a few forums that allow to do this. I'm fairly new to Internet Marketing and really like Cashcrate, that's why I want to find some place to promote it.

sounds to me like you just described a pyramid scam. Could be wrong though.

No because it doesn't involve money. That's what I originally thought, too.

A pyramid scam doesn't have to involve money to still be a pyramid scam. Just some benefit that only becomes available/worthwhile when you are no longer on the bottom of the pyramid!

Yeah but there are still ways to earn cash without the referral program and only that it's only a two-level program. Plus I have received payment and will again next month. My only purpose for this program is because I am trying to get some bills paid, and I'm only working part-time currently. So this really helps me out until I can find a better job.

well here's a more fun one for you moola.com you get to play games and earn money, no joke!

You can also participate in Blog discussions as well. Find bloggers that are talking about related topics and post a comment. This will not only market your website to potential visitors who are interested, but Google will see the links and bump up your PageRank a little.

However, just as with forums, BE SURE to make your comments interesting and on point. A blatant advertisement for your own site will just get your comment deleted and waste your time.

I have attempted this with a few sites ( and yes, I put in the RSS link on my site), but none of my comments ever show up. Is there something you have to do or just wait until they decide to show them?
