Watching Stories by Villian, All the Way

Sindatur

The Gray Owl Wizard
Admiral
So, if someone were to go through from Hartnell through Smith (Or at least through McCoy) and watch a specific enemy like the Daleks, or the Cybermen, or even the Master straight through, should they do it by airdate, or are there reccomended viewing orders somewhere on a Wiki or somesuch, to put them in Correct Story Year order (Primarily, but, of course different factors may cause you to put something in a different order)

Has anyone done this sort of thing on their own re-watch, or do you all simply watch only specific stories you feel in the mood for?

I'd like to try some, for instance Cybermen, many fans know these details of what happened when and the different models and where they came from and their current status, etc. I don't really have a full picture like that (Though most of my Classic Cybermen stories knowledge are Invasion of Time and from Peter Davison forward)

ETA: Maybe even a handy secondary reference for where to stick in Audios)

The Invasion is such an amazing episode. I honestly think the Cybermen went a bit downhill from there, so it's almost a shame to have to watch them in order. I think the Master episodes might be fun in order. Terror of the Autons is fun and I think there are continuously good episodes throughout (even if it's sometimes spotty).

But, as to know where to look, try Tardis wiki. Click Cybermen stories for them. I'm sure you could do the same for the Daleks, the Master, etc.

Daleks are a can of worms, depending on whether you believe in the single- or double-timeline version (IE you 'start' from Genesis of the Daleks first both times then divert from there, one where Davros did die (Hartnell/Troughton/Pertwee) and one where he lived (Destiny onwards).

Ooh, I like that, thanks.
