Wasps question!

Help me, miscellaneous friends!

How can I safely get rid of wasps, when their nest is only a few inches from a bird's nest? Safely for both the bird and me. The nests are right by the back door, so "live and let live" is not an option.

^ Thanks. That kind of confirmed my sense that I need a pro, and even they may not be able to avoid endangering the bird (birds? not sure if there are babies yet).
