Was William T Riker sterile?

For a man that jumped at the opportunity to get in bed with females from all across the UFP it sure seems odd that none of his conquests showed up with an armada demanding child support. :cardie:

starfleet doesn't teach abstinance only sex ed at the academy, hence he knew to replicate up some space condoms

Wasn't it strongly hinted that the woman in that episode with the Irish settlers used him to add variety to their gene pool ?

From DS9's Dogs of War

SISKO I didn't mean... it's just... a baby! You and me... wow. I hadn't even... a baby?
KASIDY Surprise.
SISKO Surprise is right -- how did... ?
KASIDY I think somebody forgot to get their injection last month...
SISKO (realizing) And Julian even reminded me. But with everything that's been going on..

So yeah, apparently you can get a monthly birth control hypo. Gotta imagine that conversation between Bashir and Sisko though.

Imagine the conversations between Riker and Crusher...which would have been especially awkward after "The Host"....

Forget that. I'm more interested to hear the conversation between McCoy and Kirk after the latter's numerous female adventures. After all, we know Kirk successfully impregnated at least two women: what about the women we never saw on TV (or film)?

He loved to tease Data's console, that's for sure.

I'm amazed he didn't take a moment to say goodbye after the Enterprise-D crashed on Veridian III. In any event, I can't think of his saying, "I always thought I'd get a crack at this chair someday," without breaking into a grin.

It's quite likely that McCoy invented "the injection" with somebody he knew in mind....
