Debates over on the Discovery boards inspired this topic, where it was brought up that ENT was a clearly right-wing Trek, compared to its predecessors, as well as Disco. Which leads me to a few questions.

1) Do you consider ENT to be a right leaning Star Trek?

If so,

2a) Did it influence your enjoyment of the show?

2b) How much do you think it was influenced by the climate it aired in?

2c) Do you think, considering that it’s a prequel, that it made sense for ENT to lean right wing? Or should it have been more progressive like the other Trek series?

No. I think it was more a product of the time, as with most art.

But, then, I don't care about the politics of a show, usually.

Sorry, no. FH, we don't discuss politics in here, and this topic, and your posed questions, seem very likely to lead to that. This topic is better suited for Misc or TNZ.

Also, in future, you're welcome to post threads that ask questions, but I strongly recommend that you offer your own answers, to launch the discussion. Thanks.
