was apollo using the force?

I think he was just using regular telekinesis, enhanced by technology.

scotty got mad and was going to club him with that thing and then lightning shot out and kirk stepped up and got choked

Apollo and Trelane were O and P respectively. Charlie X was really raised by the N. Even Korob & Sylvia were L or M.

Or hell...maybe they're all Q afterall. ;)

Apollo and the Jedi Knights were quite different. Force users have those little midaclorians floating around their blood stream to let them use the force, Apollo had that extraneous organ that McCoy identified to manipulate the power of his temple.

I thought George Lucas stole everything from Jack Kirby?

Joe, original

Oh guys, appollo was on one show during TOS. And Star Wars was not till 1977, there is a problem with the time frame.

Let's see 1960's when this episode was done.
1970's when Star Wars was done.
George Lucus stole from Star Trek too ?

* Yup, seems that way *

Now that is the first time someone came up with the right answer

Thank you outpost4 for understanding that it was BAD ACTING. Were did they get this guy called Apollo, oh ya, at one of the many bath houses in California during the 1960's. Now who from the show went to one of these bath house, was it Spock, Kirk or Bones?

The force, gee you make it sound like a comic book. Come on this is Star Trek not Star Wars. And if it was Star Wars, you would not go around with Yoda to say "Live Long ..... " do I have to spell it.
