Or to eat Leola Root! :techman:

That I wouldn't mind trying.
I was fascinated by this root actually when they discovered it and always wondered what was so repulsive about it?
I think the writers went too much out of their way to make this crew in some aspects behave like today's individuals (which to me seemed ridiculous) as opposed to open minded people who might actually want to help Neelix come up with a good recipe with the root.
Plus, you can practically make anything taste really delicious depending on which spices are used, and lets be frank... Neelix made a mistake of making dishes tailored for Talaxian physiology. He probably needed to get familiar with some basics in Federatio species physiologies in order to make Leola Rood based dishes more appetizing.

And your post is what some meat eaters usually say in an attempt to elicit an emotional response in others (of course, I could be incorrect in this particular situation).
If it was... then I have to say its un-original - plus, you hadn't said anything I don't hear on a practically daily basis (oh the amount of ridiculous excuses people will come up with in order to justify eating other sentient beings while still claiming they are 'good people' and 'care' about animals and the environment - laughable contradictions).

This post made me want roast a succulent, fat dripping pig so I could glaze it in honey and butter then delicately slice into the delicious sweet, pink flesh.

As does yours, my dear. But it's true. We have no need to buy into the government nutrition advice. It's lobbied.
Cheese took off for a reason. they had excess milk fat to deal with when the skim milk craze started in the 80's. this bull that their cows and their cheese is healthy is laughable. cows just chew grass. their beef is poor quality and not worth taking their lives.
I am not vegan however, sorry. And i still eat chickens twice a month in my recipes. If I'm dying for red meat I go for sustainable farm bison. 1lb a month.

Back to the milk topic. I prefer iced cold milk and even then it's rare. I prefer almond milk. Warm milk if i need to be soothed but not preferred. I'm actually eating pudding so I voted that.
