warhammer fantasy and warhammer 40,000 fiction fans unit

are there any fans of warhammer ficition out there ?
And, if so what are you reading?


currently reading games of throne and stephen king dark tower gunslinger.
currently watching supernatural season 4 and smallville season 4.

I am a bookaholic I do two books a week plus comics and graphics

I knew a guy who was into Warhammer 40000. He was trying to explain it to me, but I didnt have a clue what he was talking about. I tried to get into it once, but there is so much material I didn't know where to start so I just gave up on it.

^ Easy way to get into Warhammer (40K or fantasy) is to either read some of the game codex that look interesting (they are based on faction) or play Dawn of War and figure out what side you like the best and look for some books to read based off that.

the most I've ever gotten into the warhammer-verse was getting the Chaos Daemons codex and I played a few sessions of Dark Heresy, warhammer/40k is just too expensive to get into

well I started with the anthologies . Now there is a sereis called horous heresy for the science fiction line which is kinda like there clone wars . There is also the time of legends for the fantasy era whch is kinda like lord of the rings meets stephen king.

Now I was wondering if anyone knew a chronological order for the 40k universe after the heresy?

Started to get into it a few years ago inspired by having played Dawn of War. Started with the Eisenhorn book purely as it was an anthology. Enjoyed it a lot and it pretty much replaced my licensed works quota that was left after I basically dropped the Star Trek line as I became very disenfranchised with it.

Currently working my way through the Horus Hersey and am up to Legion.

the heresey is awesome wait to you get mechanium . need to get the first heritic and prosprourns burns. and then need the third book in the founding of the empire trilogy and the third book in the nagash the sorcer trilogy and need the elf trilogy.

and thanks for the link I WILL explore it when I have time. Now is anyone going to see the eagle . I know its a roman legion movie but it could pass for a warhammer movie and so could russel crow's robin hood and the remake of clash of the titans.

Battlestar galactica relaunch is very warhammer 40 k loved it .
