Nothing to do with the series that actually came on TV.

Another one, proposed in the 70's, that would have been done by George Pal himself, assisted by art director Matt (Star Trek) Jeffries himself.

Some things that would have made this win:

1. A captain named Jim
2. A ship named Pegasus
3.George Pal
4. Matt Jeffries
5. A dark evil planet named Endor

You can see Matt Jefferies and a couple of pieces of the 11-foot Enterprise model in the background of the "art department tour."

Damn, I'd hoped this was about the 1988 Strangis series. The first season was funny as all hell.
