Right now Bestbuy is offering a bundle where you not only get an 80 gig PS3 with one game but TWO games. The games being Killzone 2 (a decent but apparently well reviewed shooter) and Metal Gear Solid 4 (one of the best games for the systems...IMO of course ). The cost? 400 bucks.

It's a great deal... if you can afford it. Which at the moment a lot of people cannot. Most of those who would want a PS3 and can afford it probably already have it.

That actually is a pretty great deal. MGS4 would be the only must-buy game for me on PS3.

I am thinking of buying one...but even with that deal I'm probably going to wait until the fall, and see if the rumors about PS3 slim and a price cut are true.

I'm really curious about the prices of the Slim. I know the rumor mill has the 120GB at $299.... I can't help but wonder if that's too expensive still. Although, if that drives the price of the big 80GB to $250, to clear out stock, THAT may be a hard deal to beat.

Definitely a bargain. I don't understand why he'd want to part with it, but his loss.

I'm going to go with the "wait and see" on the slim too.

My opinion of the PS3 has significantly changed recently.

There are some exclusive titles coming up that are just too good to pass up.
Also, I think the PS3 FFXIII is going to be better than the 360--if even just for the disc swapping.
