Walt Disney World Trip: Recommendations/Suggestions?

I'm getting married on Saturday, April 4. For our honeymoon, on April 5 my wife and I will be going to Walt Disney World, and we'll return home on April 12.

We know what options we want -- which class of park resort hotel, the types of park tickets and add-ons, etc. Now I'm trying to find a good deal on the whole package, including air fare.

I emailed both Small World Travel and AAA for price quotes, and I'll use Disney's online Tickets & Reservations page for another resort/park quote, as well as a travel web site or two for air fare quotes.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this economically? I'm not a cheapskate, but the economy isn't the best that it's ever been, and we are going to visit the park during what I'm told is peak season.

Thanks in advance!

Congratulations! My wife and I honeymooned there 24+ years ago. We took our son there a few years ago - we drove but booked the stay through the Disney World website - no complaints at all about the cost or the service.

We did however use several tips from http://www.themouseforless.com/.

Good luck!

AAA travel usually has some great packages. Definitely stay in a WDW hotel if you can. They have a great transportation system around the parks. They also have a shuttle from the airport to your hotel.

Consider the dining plan. They have a couple of different ones with varying prices.

Have fun.
