And a Trekspert identifies which episode the shot is from in 3...2...1...
Nice teaser... One wonders how much the royalty fees must have been to use so many popular robots from television and movies.
I dunno, but I can't imagine Robbie, KITT, or B-9 being budget-busters. They and Data are the only licensed ones I noticed.
And I do wonder if the Johnny Five people nixed his appearance (or they didn't have a J5 available), hence the obvious knock-off in the ad.
Data in an advert! My life is complete!!
I assume it's an American ad, do you know if it's going to be shown in the U.K as well?
Although, as I've never heard of GE and have never seen any of their adverts over here, probably not. So I've answered my own question.
I'll never know why advertisers don't use Data or Brent Spiner for Android. How amazing would that be. Advertising execs, if your reading this make it happen!
We'll we've had Kirk and Scotty in ad on this side of the pond before.
No waiting necessary to see the 'star' in the ad. Go... Robby!
That ad was magnificent!! I hope it makes it on the air, here. Now I have to hit 'submit reply' so I can go back and watch it again. Thanks, Squiggy.
Really? When was this and what was it for.
"I don't need a brolly, you wally!"
That line has to be one of the funniest things I've heard in an advert. Haha! Brilliant!
And the guy with the mic is Simon Cadell, Jeffrey Fairbrother in Hi-De-Hi.
Never saw that before! Very funny.
^ Some things you just can't unsee.
But is it canon?!?
Great, did Data have to hijack the fucking ship again to do this?!
And could they have done a WORSE job in making a Johnny-5 mock-up?
Anyone? Was that pulled from an episode at all, maybe they reversed it?
