Wacky Target covers

I've always really liked the Japanese Target covers and interior illustrations, especially their interpretations of the Daleks.

Got anymore Japanese covers or interior illustrations? Would love to see some pics of Silurians and Sea Devils in detail.

On Target reproduces all the interior illustrations of the Japanese novelizations. The stories that got them were (click on the "JAPAN" button and then the "ILLUS." one):
- The Daleks (Space-Time Big Bloody Battle!)
- Spearhead from Space (Auton Army Invasion)
- Doctor Who and the Silurians (Shuddering! The Underground Monsters)
- Colony in Space (The Frightening Ultimate Weapon!)
- Day of the Daleks (The Dalek Race's Counterattack)

The scans are good to have, but not of the highest quality unfortunately. I'd love to get my hands on these books.

looking at those covers it makes me wonder if Japan even had Robin Hood TV show, but for some crazy reason still read the books

they do look odd, but the wrong doctor on UK editions is unforgivable

Frederick Muller did that for the mid 1970s hardback reissues of all three of the original Hartnell novels - while retaining the internal illustrations showing Hartnell.
I believe there's at least one Pertwee novelisation that was rewritten to make it tom Baker for the US edition. but nothing's as bad as the TV Comic era when they would reprint Troughton and Pertwee strips with Tom Baker's head painted onto the Doctor.
