VOY In The Flesh Terrasphere

In the fifth season of Voyager, we get to see that Species 8472 built a Terrasphere specifically to train for the invasion of the Federation. According to not-Boothby, the facility was built last year (2374). It recreated Starfleet Command circa 2371 to 2373. Given that Scorpion I/II starts in last days of 2373 and the first days of 2374 and that it takes place right after Star Trek: First Contact given their Stardates.

From what not-Boothby said, their only Federation contact was Voyager but assumed there were other Starfleet vessels in the Delta Quadrant. Given that Voyager's Starfleet information was from 2371, so the simulation was only Starfleet Command 2371 and that the information about the ships stated, Intrepid and Hor'cha, were also from that time period. The reason why I am making this statement, is because Memory Alpha doesn't state that the Intrepid of 2371 was on a three-year RNZ patrol and the Hor'cha received a Starfleet exchange officer in that year.

where did the details about the Intrepid and Hor'cha come from in the episode. was it Voyager crew stating it, or something from within the species 8472 simulation? because presumably in the latter case such details probably would have been something invented for the simulation to help give it verismilitude.

Chakotay stated the Intrepid but not Boothbay stated it was on a three-year RNZ patrol and not Archer was assigned to the Hor'cha.

I would have thought Species 8472 data on Starfleet came from the Borg when they were fighting them in Scorpion which would likely have more up to date information on Starfleet HQ (because the Borg use TW conduits for a large amount of things - augmenting their scanners to gather intel on Earth is not beyond their capabilities).

In the Flesh episode takes place in early S5 of VOY (which would place it in the late 2374 or early 2375 roughly)... meaning that 8472 had a whole year to build the base etc.
8472 also didn't have an opportunity to infiltrate VOY's database and download it, so it stands to reason they obtained it from the Borg during Scorpion.

My only issue with the recreation was that there were Ferengi serving at HQ... which didn't seem to make sense since Nog seemed like he was the only Ferengi in Starfleet during Ds9 run (and he went to the Academy in early Season 4 of Ds9...

Ds9 Season 4 takes place roughly in the year 2372... about a year after VOY was snatched by the Caretaker.

Maybe its possible Nog's application to SF spurred other Ferengi to join in proceeding year or so, but would it have happened that quickly?
I'd say it would be something that took place maybe more during or after the Dominion War.

But, the simulation could have been inaccurate...

At any rate, we know from Ds9 that the USS Bellerophon (and Intrepid class) was dispatched to Romulus for a medical conference during the Dominion War.
Dunno about the Hor'cha though... but it seems like the vessel exists in the Klingon Empire.

But, 8472 would have been operating on the data they had... and extrapolate... since they probably had to extrapolate, any issues in accuracy could be attributed to errors in extrapolation - though they'd be minor.
