[LEFT]Blurb: An original novel set in the universe of Star Trek: Voyager—and the sequel to Protectors and Acts of Contrition! Admiral Kathryn Janeway faces a tribunal determined to execute her for supposed crimes committed during Voyager’s maiden trek through the Delta Quadrant. Captain Chakotay knows that the Kinara, several species now allied against the Full Circle fleet, are not all they appear to be. The Confederacy of the Worlds of the First Quadrant—a pact he cannot trust—is his only hope for unraveling the Kinara’s true agenda and rescuing Admiral Janeway. Meanwhile, Seven and Tom Paris are forced to betray the trust of their superiors in a desperate bid to reveal the lengths to which a fellow officer has gone in the name of protecting the Federation from the legendary Caeliar. ______________________ The first people should get hold of the novel over the weekend at Shore Leave, so I decided to post the review thread early. For the rest of us not fortunate enough to be able to go to ShoreLeave, ack, only maybe about 2 more weeks until this novel perhaps appears in some bookstores world wide. And here's again the summary blurb, and also an excerpt for Atonement on the S&S site (SPOILERS of course) for anyone interested: http://books.simonandschuster.net/S...Kirsten-Beyer/Star-Trek-Voyager/9781476790817
Ok Kristen, I finished this novel the other day and all I can say is.... Bad Kristen.. Bad Bad Kristen... Making me (on multiple days) late to work and keeping me up past my bed time to read this excellent novel. Can't wait till the next one. Mike Winters
Hm. Usually Amazon.de is over-punctual when it comes to the Voyager novel releases. This time it seems I have to wait until August 25.
Blaaarghhhh. Can't wait. My teeny tiny local bookstore said they won't be able to get it for me until approx. 5-10 business days after the 25th. Sometimes buying local is hard. *Yeah - first world problems and all. . .*
I'm enjoying relating this comment to your avatar. Should I send in the Jem'Hadar or do I hold back, and wait?
I don't know, but her legs seem to be very long. Too long for Janeway's. Maybe a male fantasy? Who know's.
Did we ever see any female admirals in the TNG movie/late DS9 uniforms? I thought Nechayev was in a late DS9 episode, but according Memory Alpha she was only in The Seach which still used the older uniforms.
And my work here is done. It was a treat to see you at Shoreleave! Looking forward to next year. Best, KMFB
Wasn't Janeway an admiral in Nemesis? She was the one who dispatched Picard into the Neutral Zone IIRC.
Yeah, but she didn't appear in a full body shot like the cover; JD was asking because of the question of who the source for Janeway's body was there.
