It's not even November, but it's time to vote for the president of the United States... the fictional variety, that is!

We're going to make things simple and do away with the Electoral College; popular vote will decide this contest. However, just like the real presidential elections, you are allowed to vote for FOUR candidates!* (Please don't vote for your own entry, though.)

Polls will be open for four days, with the winner announced Saturday night.

Well, presumably you didn't have to go to *too* much trouble to look it up, since both names appear under the entry!

But seriously, yeah, that's on me. Sorry. I've never actually seen Dave, so I didn't know if the image was a picture of Mitchell, or of Kovic playing Mitchell, so I thought the safest route to go was include both names. Otherwise I figured someone would come back and say that wasn't "really" Mitchell in the picture!

I just dug out an old Independence Day cd and watched it. I had forgotten Brent Spiner (Data) was in it. What I was surprised to see were Mary McDonnell (BSG's Laura Roslin) and Adam Baldwin (Firefly's Jayne/Chuck's Casey)! I didn't even remember them in the movie.

They were?! Could've sworn it was just Dave Kovic's name, earlier. Well, seems like I went to the unnecessary trouble to look it up on wikipedia.
