VOTE NOW on the Whofest 2009 T-Shirt design contest!

Every year a group of us get together as close to Nov. 23 as we can to spend a full day watching Doctor Who! We watch one story from each Doctor, eat a lot of pizza and Jelly Babies, and generally have a good time. 2009 marks our 13th annual Whofest!

We also make ourselves a t-shirt for the event, and for the last three years we've opened it up to everyone! Anyone can make a design, and anyone can vote on which design they think should become the official shirt!

Well, the submissions for 2009 are all in, and here they are:

Worf2DS9: Sure, I'll definitely post the printed shirt! You should be able to see pictures of us in previous year's shirts on our MySpace page at http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewAlbums&friendID=166974114. (Hopefully that link should work; MySpace no longer requires you to be a member to view pics, and I went to the page while being signed out.) But I'll be sure to include future pics here as well!

AND THE WINNER IS.... DESIGN B, with 48% of the vote!!!

Design C was in second place with 43% of the vote, and Design A was third with 10%. Designs B & C were neck-and-neck the entire week of voting, and Design B only won by two votes! So it was quite a race to watch!

Whofest was last weekend and we all had a blast! Here's everybody in the winning shirt:

Rich and I always get ourselves shirts printed of all the entries, so here's all the designers with their shirts:

From left to right, that's Amy Grosser with Design C (co-designed with Craig Hines, not pictured), Fer Goodnough (yours truly) with Design B, and Richard Franklin with Design A. Everyone there got the winning shirt, but Rich and I also chose to have the "runners up" printed just for ourselves. We had them printed on gray shirts, but we're probably going to reprint Amy & Craig's (Design C) using a better printing process on navy blue.

Thanks again to everyone for being a part of Whofest 2009!! We really appreciated everyone votes and comments!!
