May the best life form win.

RJ, JiNXed and Owain Taggart for me.I love all three, most especially RJ's. Van Gogh rocks my world and that is my favorite painting of his.
And just for the record, JiNXed's choice by Norman Rockwell is nothing short of awesome and one of Rockwell's best captures of Americana. I love his work too (especially his holiday works).

I went for RJ, FSM and Elephant's Graveyard.

I am sorry but I have to admit that I really, really hate "The Scream". It sends shivers down my spine.

Voted. Owain Taggart, JiNXed and Spaceman Spiff.

Thanks for folks who voted for my Cezanne skulls. :D

I came in here expecting at least a Michelangelo and a Rubens to vote for, maybe even a Titian or a Rembrandt, but I'm surprised to see that nobody chose any painters from before the 19th century.

I guess I'm old school. -Very- old school.

I am the opposite. Except for Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Bruegel most of the painters I like are from the 19th century onwards. This is much to the disgust of my sisters who state "How can you say love art and yet not like the Old Masters?"

I love the Old Masters.

In fact, I almost went with a Michelangelo one - of God's and Adam's fingers almost touching from the Sistine Chapel ceiling - but couldn't get it to look quite right in the 140x140 size. So I went with The Scream.

However, my all-time favorite artist is Gustave Doré. But just try to get one of his engravings to look even recognizable as an avatar.

^ That's a classical iconic image right there. :)

Miss Chicken, I've had people telling me I'm insane and not an art lover at all because I've always stated that most of the stuff produced by Impressionists and onwards is only good for postcards and bookmarks, so I can relate to your predicament with your family.

Eh, all that all stuff should be redrawn by modern artists; old stuff is no good. ;)

Well, the time has come to bite the bullet and Vote:

Praetor_Shinzon
JiNXed
Admiral Shran

And it was not easy....
