Jackanory, basically a kids 'bedtime story' programme.

And I'm assuming the gent in question is a lightly younger version of our beloved Wilf. (I feel slightly dumb asking but not too much because I've found that many former castmembers are currently unrecognizable. I'd never recognize Nicholas Courtney if I ran into him on the street the way he looks now.)

I was actually going to submit a pic of Bernard Cribbins from his role in the 2nd Dr Who movie but despite it being a companion in another role it contravenes the contest rules by still being a Who role and a companion one at that.

ha ha, yes that would have been disgraceful My original plan was to do Louise J from Bergerac but couldn't find a good enough pic so went the emmerdale farm route, when I found a pic of Frazer and Sally K there was no other choice.

That was a problem for this contest. Most of the classic companions are most famous for their roles in Who so there aren't many pics of them in other roles. Surprised no one did any of Catherine Tate.
