Just found this great old clip of Entertainment Tonight from back in 1987. I had this recorded on some old VHS tape back in the day, but some other great soul posted it for us.
You can see what the movie bridge looked like from the outside, with it's walls ripped off before they turned it into the battle bridge. Also, the 1701-D shuttle/cargo bay being built as well as the planet hell set and the Farpoint mall.
Right in front of the Ent-A bridge, near where the weapon's station used to bee is where the engineering set stood (my favorite film-era set), but you don't get a good look at it in this video.
They really need to get all these old ET Making of clips and add them as bonus features on a TNG blu-ray set.
