Goren's *biological* father was a serial killer named Mark Ford Brady. But the man who we used to think was his father had died a few years before the show started, I believe.

I say: get Monk. Not just the actor, but the character.

Corporate synergy.

I want to see Monk on the streets of New York...

Why stop there? How about Monk, Goren and Neal Caffrey are assigned to bring down Michael Westen?

And Westen gets reinforcements in the form of Annie Walker, Shawn and Gus?

They can bring in Mary and Marshall from In Plain Sight too. They've already done a mini L&O CI/IPS crossover.
