Villain Speculation, Possible Spoilers

There are just a buch of things that would make sense if omega was coming back. My biggest thing is Why blow up all the universes? What is to be gained by killing yourself if it was the just the silence causing it. I think it was a way for Omega who is in the Anti-matter universe to turn his universe into a matter universe since no matter universes exist anymore.

Not to mention the fact that Omega is a stellar engineer and would be capable of generating a crack in time and breaking down the so called known laws of time. It will turn out to be someone entirely different most likely but I'm still sticking with the theory it's Omega behind everything :)

Well the biggest problem is Omega is probably dead (as seen in "Arc of Infinity") and even if he somehow survived disintegration, he was still in our universe.

Heh, as if death has ever stopped a Whovillian from returning before

Plenty of villains have died in the whoverse. The question is Omega really that popular. :vulcan:

Finally there is his motivation. Yeah he's insane but that's due to his loneliness and anger at his abandonment. He doesn't have personal gripe against the Doctor and whoever is behind this not only hates the Doctor but has convinced others to hate and fear him as well.

You know what will be cool. It's River Song that is behind all this. She's become totally bitter at being left behind.

Hmm. Omega, Church, Pope, monks.

Maybe the ultimate villain is ... Jesus. Actually that would make more sense than Omega, but it's probably still Omega.

To be honest I keep coming back to Father Octavian's assertion that River killed a good man, the best of men...particularly for a man of God, Jesus might fit into that category!!

Nah, its Davros again. He just switched sides and is working with the Movellans this time. All hail the Disco Dreads! :)

In Arc, the Doctor said he might have survived. In order to survive though he probably would have go back to the anitmatter universe somehow. And he does have have a grip with the doctor, the Doctor keeps stopping his plans!! LOL

Another non-Omega theory is the Valeyard/Dreamlord. He is starting to manafest inside the doctor and maybe the some times blacks out and the Valeyard takes over his mind, setting some events in motion and covering his tracks. You do wonder if and when the Doctor sleeps, then Rory had that weird line in the Doctor's Wife ask the Doctor if he had a bedroom. Omega makes more sense though given the current questions still out there.

Omega actually appears in a post-arc audio story, played by the guy who did the voice in Arc of Infinity.

As for Omega, I think he's too similar to Rassilon (Indeed, some speculated that Dalton's character was going to be Omega). Both are time lord founders, although Rassilon was more of a society architect than Omega's 'stellar engineer'.
