Villain Speculation, Possible Spoilers

I don't think that's the case at all...I do think Omega is returning though. "A Good Man Goes to War" did more to convince me of that than any other episode. I must confess it was seeing the Omega symbols on the Brotherhood's black and silver flags.

WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY DOES SEEING A GREEK LETTER ON A FLAG MEAN OMEGA IS COMING BACK?!

it makes NO SENSE whatsoever! ooo, some militant church has an omega on there flag, that means Omega's coming back!!

no, it REALLY doesn't.

by the golden spires of Iacon, all it means is, they have an omega on their flag. talk about seeing things that aren't tehre...

It doesn't mean anything. But so far, the only connection between that particular greek letter and Doctor Who is the character known as Omega, so I think it's perfectly natural to wonder if there's something going on there. It would be like seeing the "Q" letter on a flag in a Star Trek movie.

It doesn't mean anything at all. I don't see the need to freak out at simple speculation which my theory is. I simply feel that Omega is coming back. I am perfectly willing to accept that he isn't the villain. It's not like I've heard another reasonable theory out there either.

Why would Omega write his name for his church in anything but Gallifreian which would never be translated into English by a TARDIS?

Omega is just symbolic of the last. If they had used the English alphabet and put a Z on the flag would it mean that Zorro was the great returning enemy?

It's funny how fandom fixates on the certain characters for a while, last year everyone kept saying that The Rani was returning, this year, Omega.

That disembodied voice in the finale of Series 5 reminded me of Omega.

Too funny! And other people said it really reminded them of Hartnell and that maybe the first Doctor is coming back to battle the 11th for whatever silly reason they imagined made sense.

But if we're just throwing out random silliness at this point:

Obviously, the eyepatch lady is a regeneration of the Lady in White from End of Time. She is, also obviously, the Doctor's Granddaughter Susan, but also the Doctor's mother, and of course she's also River Song. The next episode will reveal that the Doctor knew all this, but what he didn't know was that she was also The Rani.

And this will all end with the Doctor taking on the role of Merlin in ancient times. He'll do so because The Monk is lurking about somewhere. This is, of course, before The Monk has regenerated into The Master, who later regenerates into The War Chief.

Again...why is it a fixation? I've not heard any other suggestions as to who the villain is. The Brotherhood spoke English as well. It's possible for theories sake...that they chose to use the Greek symbol for Omega as well instead of a Gallifreyan symbol. I don't think it's much of a stretch to think this. Nor am I set in thinking that he'll return. For the theory to be blatantly dismissed as fan overreaction is silly to me. There's no proof I'm wrong, and I'm perfectly willing to accept being wrong as well.

I have said Omega will be back for months now. The symbols are just clues for fans like us to specualate on. LOL

Yeah but before that Davros was supposed to be returning, before that the Master...

I'm not saying Omega is or isn't coming back (because, like, I don't know) but it's an interesting hypothesis at least.

Hmm. Omega, Church, Pope, monks.

Maybe the ultimate villain is ... Jesus. Actually that would make more sense than Omega, but it's probably still Omega.
