This looks to be a couple of years old, but I just saw it for the first time.
For TOS Enterprise junkies, courtesy of Bill George, some complete, unbroken library shots of the 11 foot miniature -- including footage shot but never used in the series. Referencing Tallguy's exhaustive shot reference:
- Saucer Top (now you can easily see that a still of the very beginning of this shot was used for the "surrounded" shot in "The Enterprise Incident")
- Phaser 2 (without the phaser effect, moves in much closer than we saw in the series)
- Under Saucer
- Aft
- Turn to Bridge (my favorite, at 1:16 the shot goes on much longer than ever used in the series, until the ship is pointed completely away from the viewer!)
- Approach Tilted2
I'd love to know where this footage came from and if there's any more of it. Perhaps we'll see more on the upcoming Roddenberry Vault Blu-ray!
