Vader Endfight in the Force Unleashed

Is there a trick to it? He keeps stomping me. I killed the Emperor pretty easy and saw the end film which disappointed me a bit because you lose even after kicking his ass. The blind general dude was a dumbass for pleading mercy for the Emperor.

I want to defeat Vader to see the evil ending. I think it unlocks a Sith outfit too.

IIRC, I got extremely lucky and exploited one of the game's many bugs - he got stuck in the floor and couldn't fight back!

Practice timing your force powers when he starts throwing stuff at you. You grab it mid-air and toss it back at him. Once you get the timing down, it's an easy fight.

To do the darkside way, after you beat him and the cutscene pleys, when you get control of Starkiller back, go back to Vader's room instead of towards the Emperor.

Knowing of the 2 possible outcome before playing I actually went for the dark side first.

I had no problem defeating Vader what-so-ever but I was playing on Wii, so the controls might be more intuative and thus easier.

I didn't have much of a problem beating Vader to get the dark side ending but I (played it on medium difficulty first time for light side and he was tough) played it on the easy setting. Probably the best trick to beating him......

Hes a right bitch in the dark side ending...erm I think I just did block and then before he does a powerful move you can jump behind him and hit him then block and repeat etc.

I haven't gotten to Vader on the PS3 yet, but I've beaten him 4 times on the PSP in story mode, and several more times on the Force Duels mode. I think I change out my crystal for max lightsaber damage and use the combos on him. He goes down pretty easy.
