Aragorn

Anna is infuriated at the fearless, arrogant and daring tactics of the Fifth Column. She decides to use Ryan to get rid the Fifth Column once and for all. Under orders, Father Travis tells Jack he must leave the priesthood. Lisa, who is under the impression her grandmother is dead, meets with Diana.

In this episode, the Fifth Column does something to stop the Visitors plans but the Visitors don't really respond or retaliate and just move onto something else, Anna orders Ryan to infiltrate the Fifth Column but doesn't want to know the names of any members or what their plans are, Tyler does something that makes him look like a douche and Chad struggles to make his godawful dialog sound convincing.

I thought this was a pretty good episode.

The only thing I didn't like was the death of Joe, which was predictably going to happen after he and Erica got back together.

It's the only show I watch now. It's brainless entertainment but it's never boring <rant>unlike SyFy's Being Human with it's endless background pop music</rant> and easy to like with it's well-defined plot and characters. I enjoy the TMCs and HBOs but sometimes it really isn't bad to tune in to such a show after a long day at work.

I thought this was a pretty good episode.

The only thing I didn't like was the death of Joe, which was predictably going to happen after he and Erica got back together.

The minute Joe and Erica had their little romantic moment on the stairs, hubby and I turned to each other and said, "He's a dead man!"

I'm sorry, but isn't Hobbes' storyline now the same as Ryan's? That's a bit lame, if you ask me.

And why didn't anyone ask why Erica was in the building with Ethan in the first damn place? And what about science-boy? Did all those just get forgotten?

Well the show ended strong, but how they got there is a total mess.

Joe being a goner was obvious, but they sure needed to direct it better because the way they shot it didn't look like he was in a dire situation and that he took a few bullets just because the plot dictated it.

And was I right about Tyler being a douche or what?

Also, how did Dutch and Starbuck's dad clear Erica based on Joe dying? They never got an answer to how the Fifth Column got her in the first place or all the pictures of her with Father Jack.

And how is Lisa supposed to get back up?

Do we hate Tyler because the actor sucks or because the writers don't know what the hell to do with him other than jerk him around as the plot dictates and make him as unlikable as possible?

I'm just glad she slapped Tyler upside the head. I've wanted to do that since episode 1.

Agreed. He's the worst character on the show.

The episode itself was pretty good, though nothing on this show really stands up to any sort of logic--it is what it is, fun semi-mindless network SF entertainment.

Nice to see Diana finally have a scene with someone besides Anna, though I do hope she gets out of that dank room at some point this season.

And how is Lisa supposed to get back up?

Same way she got down there, clearly, with the transporter thingy. It's interesting she knew how to activate it and apparently it only goes one place or somehow told her were Anna had just been.

Tyler needed to be smacked. I'm glad Joe is dead; never liked him. Is Judas lizard blown up now - I assume not?

They "cleared" Erica because 5th column would not be killing her (ex-)husband if she were a sympathizer or leader. For the show's universe, that's good enough reasoning.

The show is horrible and has nothing on the original mini-series. :borg:

I hope Ryan is dead so i dont have to hear Anna say for the umpteenth time "Ryan, your baby needs my bliss, doesnt your baby love my bliss? huh doesnt she? huh? my bliss! my bliss! my bliss!!!" :scream:

I hope the blast destroyed Ryan's human suit but left the lizard alive (escaping thru the secret tunnel natch) so they can recast the part. Morris Chestnut was just never the right guy for the role and he sinks every scene he's in.

Ratings up a bit. Will we be stuck with this show another year? :p

Yeah, I kinda groaned when Anna took Hobb's girlfriend. Now it's the same thing all over again. No baby but it's the girlfriend now. *big sigh*

Also agree that Tyler exists for no reason other than for us to hate. Come on, his dad just died, his mum is heartbroken and he acts like an ass then leaves?

^ Now all that's needed is for lisa to scare the living daylights out of him by revealing ther true self, and then biting his head of.

So all this time we have Anna and Marcus building up how special Tyler is and how essential he is to their plan, then two episodes ago he leaves and Anna says no big deal because they've got other options, then this last episode Tyler is important again and just like that comes back to them. Does that about sum it up?

i guess its kinda like Luke in Star Wars. he was the 'only hope'...but there was another. kinda like, even though there is another lets try and not get the first one killed.
