The members are trying to explain why the Visitors used blades for the blitz attack on the Resistance recruitment meeting. That lead to jokes about the knives being used to carve us up.
Actually, interspecies porn is pretty popular throughout the Milky Way, and that's what the Visitors are really here for. When some people get desperate enough, they're willing to jump into the sex business. The Visitors are trying to sign a whole planet to their company.
I still shudder thinking of the few seconds of footage i saw from Snow White and the Seven Pak'Mara.
Last night I started to watch the pilot on Hulu and after 10 minutes the whole FBI hunting terrorists TV-show-police-procedural started which I was not aware of and it upset me that I had to turn it off.
This was supposed to be a scifi show about aliens not a TV FBI procedural terrorism investigation show.
I haven't read any of the other reviews (yet) on the pilot on TrekBBS so not sure how others felt about thus.
In 2002 I watched the original "V" on DVD when it was released and know it was just a Nazi Holocaust TV movie with aliens...
This was supposed to be a scifi show about aliens not a TV FBI procedural terrorism investigation show.

It's not really about the FBI at all. One character is an FBI agent, but
she'll probably have to resign because there's no way she can juggle her workload at the FBI with her resistance activities. And I doubt there's any possibility Erica can convince the FBI that the V's are up to no good before it's far too late.
