USS McCashin

Very interesting design - thank you for posting! Do you have other views of this model, specifically aft and ventral views?

Thanks gents. :) I just saw this thread and I'm honored. Friends have been trying to talk me into making a 1/350 (32") version of her.

Perhaps a little too manhy windows on the smaller stardrive section, but other than that it looks great. I can easily see this as fitting in with TOS.

Might have to seperate the warp nacelles some more though, to fit in with Gene's original concept of seperation because of how they worked. I don't recall the precise details.

IIRC the warp nacelles had to be in clear view of each other, I do not think distance was an issue. When they were designing the SFX for the TMP Refit it had been planned to have some sort of cascading field effect visible between them but that did not work out.
I like this ship design- it fits the TOS well.
