Upcoming Publications: November/December 2007

I do all my eBook reading on my PC, so Adobe works just fine for all of my needs. I can scroll and zoom easily, and I'm used to working with the software. It may not be suitable for everyone, but it's still a decent format.

Also, if you need Acrobat 8 on your system for whatever reason, then everything you've purchased in DRM laden PDF won't work as Acrobat 7 is the last version to deal with those sorts of PDF.

Did you replace Acrobat 7 when you installed Acrobat 8? When I had similar difficulties between 5 and 6, I simply made 5, which was still on my system, the default reader, and manually opened 6 when I needed to do work in that version for clients.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

But if you don't know that Acrobat 8 won't read your DRM files, you will go ahead and update your version 7 with version 8 and then find out you are well and truly screwed.

^You can always download Version 7 again as a separate copy. It's still readily available.

Is it just me, or do Troi's breasts look larger than normal on the cover of Slings and Arrows book 3?
They do look a little bit exaggerated.
