Guess I'd better enjoy Children of Kings, because after that, no new Trek for me until October :(

^ Find something from previous years to read. There is SO much good Trek out there, it's a little insane.

Seeing as that gets brought up to me all the time: I own basically ALL of them, and have read them all several times, at least. I read fast, so supplement the new stuff with old stuff all the time. Just finished a couple of numbered TOS books, for example.

None of which means I can't be disappointed that there's no new Trek for me for the next 4 months or so. Especially during the summer, when it's relaxing to kick back in the sun and read a good book.

Fair enough, and I didn't mean to patronize. Given the breadth of TrekLit over the years, it's I think a reasonable assumption that one hasn't read all of them. I just picked this up a couple years ago, I've read over 170, and I'm not anywhere close to all of the books that sound interesting to me, much less all of them period.

Has there been cover art posted for any of the Typhon Pact books besides Zero Sum Game? I glanced over the last couple of months of posts and did not see anything. Amazon still lists the covers as "to be unveiled."

I'll have to take a picture of my collection to post sometime. I've been reading them since I was in the 4th grade...

Well my book just came out on May 19,2010,and is available online on Amazon.com"A sketchbook of The Inventive Mind" By Christiaan Cornelis Schildt, and I'll be having a booksigning event on June 26TH from 4PM-6PMat the Greetings & Readings Bookstore located at Hunt Valley Towne Center. This is true. I've only read the first Vanguard and Titan novels. Not to mention other Non-Star Trek stuff.

A month off won't hurt me one bit.

Buck, you might want to have someone proofread your Amazon description. There are some errors that are apparent at first glance, and it looks unprofessional. I would also suggest submitting a sample page so that potential buyers know what kind of sketch art is contained in the book. First impressions are crucial.

First impressions are crucial.
And the "About the author" section is really about the author's beloved parents, their occupations, residential arrangements and causes of death. Nothing about the author's experience and talents - and nothing to make me want to risk $US 20 plus air freight.

The book has already scored its first negative review, from a person who hasn't even seen it, so things aren't looking too good.
