Anyone appearing at NYCC or Trekonderoga?
I expect to be at NYCC, signing early-release copies of COLLATERAL DAMAGE at the Simon & Schuster pavilion.
I expect to be at NYCC also, though I'm not sure if I'll be doing anything official there. May just be wandering the floor and stuff.
As for Trekonderoga, I'm considering it. It's the weekend before Dragon Con, which is why I'm hesitant, but I have been talking with the Original Set Tour folks about the possibility of my being there.
Sorry for the late notice, but I'll be doing a book signing at a Barnes & Noble in Lancaster, PA this Saturday, April 6th, at 1 pm.
For locals, this is the B&N at the Red Rose Commons shopping center out on Fruitvale Pike.
Too bad I cannot get there.
I'll be one of the author guests at HELIOsphere 2019 in Tarrytown, New York (just north of NYC) this weekend. Among the panels I'm doing is one on Deep Space Nine with Susan Shwartz, Laura Antoniou, and Russell Handelman Sunday at 11.30am. Here's my whole schedule.
Does Susan Shwartz do many cons in the US?
She generally only does HELIOsphere these days, AFAIK.
For folks who cross over, I'm at Star Wars Celebration this weekend in Chicago -- signing at 4 Saturday and 5 Sunday at the Del Rey booth, then at 1 Monday at the Anderson's Bookshop booth. (Yes, it's a five-day event for some reason!)
I will be at Awesome Con this weekend in Washington D.C., again at Bard's Tower, which will be in Booth 1311. Fellow tie-in demigod Kevin J. Anderson (co-writer of the Trek graphic novel The Gorn Crisis) will be present at the booth as well along with Quincy J. Allen, R.R. Virdi, Charles E. Gannon, D.J. Butler, and a ton more.
In addition, other Trekkish guests at the con include Brent Spiner, Chris Sarandon, Gates McFadden, Greg Grunberg, Jason Isaacs, Jonathan Frakes, Klaus Janson, Marina Sirtis, Wallace Shawn, and Wil Wheaton.
No one going to Calgary this weekend? BOO
Anyone going to MegaCon Orlando this weekend?
Any authors going to be at Trekonderoga?
Belatedly, yes, I was there, at the Bard's Tower booth. Oops....
Thanks for the autograph and selfie!
^ My pleasure!
I will be at three more conventions the next three weekends (because, basically, I'm insane):
This weekend I will be at Balticon 53 in Baltimore, Maryland. I'll be spending a lot of time at the eSpec Books booth in the dealer room selling and signing books, and we'll be having the launch party for Mermaid Precinct Sunday night. I'll also be doing panels and a reading -- my full schedule is here. Also at this con will be fellow Trek (and Stargate) novelist Melissa Scott and fellow Trek comics scripter Steven H. Wilson.
From 31 May - 2 June I'll be at GalaxyCon in Richmond, Virginia, and then from 7-9 June I'll be at PopCon in Indianapolis, Indiana. For both those I'll be at the Bard's Tower booth on the exhibit floor selling and signing books. I might be doing programming at one or both of these, but that's not confirmed yet.
Also at GalaxyCon will be Trek actors Denise Crosby, John deLancie, Michael Dorn, Terry Farrell, Deep Roy, and Brent Spiner.
Trying again. Any authors appearing at Trekonderoga?
A retailer discussed it with me just today, as a matter of fact. I'd like to one day, but it'd be hard this year because I have a trip somewhere else in front of it. At a minimum, the retailer says he's willing to stock signed copies of my latest book there, so I can try to make that happen regardless.
I announced earlier this week that I'm doing Shore Leave, with the hopes we can get said book there in time — it'll be hot off the presses. Fingers crossed!
You asked earlier about NYCC — I'm tentatively there, or at least I've got the badge!
Still mulling it over. My convention schedule is insane this year, so I think it's more likely that I'll to Trekonderoga next year....
