The rich don't pay anywhere near their share in any part of our current tax system. Corporations are also skating by paying nearly nothing.

They ARE NOT the job creators that the Repugnicans want people to believe. All you have to do is check how many people are being replaced by AU (Artificial Unintelligence) and how often companies dump employees just to boost stock prices.

I just went on my state’s medical leave as the school I taught at has closed permanently. I don’t know what things will look like for me, as it’s now a matter of state record that I have long COVID fatigue, clinical depression and generalized anxiety. If I have to, I can go on unemployment in two months.

That's been my problem too. Get a call, or apply for something - maybe get an interview and ... nothing or a rejection.

I'm probably going to have to go into retail again, after more than 36 years.

If I do have to, I'd rather it be on my own terms but, money would be needed to build up something of my own...
