Hmm, be interesting to see what FX do with The Walking Dead if they're going to start showing it at 10 on a Friday but by 7th November they're going to be showing American Ghost Story there?

No news on either Castle or the Mentalist then? Shame I was hoping we'd get both quickly after the US.

That'll probably explain it then ;)

Oh and I can't find anything on Castle nor The Mentalist. Though Castle is on Alibi (and Channel 5) and Mentalist is on Channel 5 (or was last time I checked) so I'd think you'd be talking January or so before they air.

Season 5 of The Mentalist is supposed to be starting on Channel 5 next month, although I don't think a precise start date has been given yet. Season 4 of Castle is pencilled in to start in March on Alibi.

I'm glad they won't be airing at the same time this time, last time they were both on togeather I found it a bit distracting (ok they aren't that similar but the basic premise of a smart arse teamed with a straight arrow female cop is similar enough that I find myself comparing and contrasting them if they're on days apart)

For the record I think Castle is the better, slicker show, but I think Patrick Jayne is a far more interesting character to watch than Rick Castle (as cool as Fillion is)

I like Castle, I tried to watch The Mentalist but didn't make it through the first episode. Maybe it's better than I thought from what I saw but I never went back after not really enjoying the first one.

It's an odd one to describe, in that it manages to be more lightweight than Castle, yet also darker, which is mainly down to Simon Baker who manages to play by turns a dark tortured soul and a gleeful child. If Hollywood ever made a Who film (and heaven forbit but if...) he'd be my chice to play the Doctor.

Saw the Assasin one, erm, seriously, you'd just sit there and not start screaming and running for the exits - or at least taking videos and tweeting, if someone gets shot right in front of you?

:wtf:
