News Uhura and TOS Enterprise on HBO “Last Week Tonight”

Yesterday’s episode of HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver honored our beloved Nichelle Nichols as Lt. Uhura in its opening credits, with the TOS Enterprise whizzing left-to-right behind her head.

I couldn’t help but wonder — does anyone recognize the CGI model they used? (It’s definitely not mine.)
 
The perspective doesn't change, so it's a 2D shot...I wonder if one of them simply took a photo of an Enterprise they had on their desk. ;)
 
It looks like the TOS-R version of the bridge fly-in from “The Cage” (using the series version of the model, as seen in episodes like “Corbomite”).

The contrast is higher in the image, but that could’ve just been Photoshop enhancement when they cut out the image, or even an artifact of photographing the screen.
 
Yeah, the HBO Max app on my iPhone does not allow screenshots, so this was the only way I was able to get an image.

I figured it was probably something from TOS/r. :techman:
