- TV's dead. Electrical surge fried it and the surge protector and tripped the breaker. May have cooked the DVD too.

- I've been puking most of the night

- Baby's got colic

- And, oh yeah, did I mention m MS is flaring today, so my left hand and leg are numbber than usual and I can't walk without my cane..which makes the puking part really fun, thanks to the fact that I've pulled a muscle in my back and lower abdomen trying to hobble my ass around the house

^ Is there a friend or relative who can come over, or at least take the baby for a short while? At least it would give you a little quiet.

Well, to look on the bright side (OK, it's a stretch) you now can shop for a shiny new TV.

Sorry you're sick, dude. :(

Wife's off work, she's got the baby right now. But she needs help taking care of him and handling our other son that's decided today's a good day to be a handful and push daddy's buttons. Mom will be over in a bit to help out, but right now I just want to grab the advil, the 7-Up a crawl into bed.

I sympathize. I've had the flu the last four days, and as it typically does, the damn fever gives me the shakes, which, if that's not bad enough, I have nomally, due to my cerebral palsy. It's better now, just a little in my legs, but last night....I fell out of bed three times. Getting back in was an adventure.

Anyway, like I said, I'm feeling MUCH better today, and I hope you do too.

Sith, aw dude, there's nothing worse than being sick and having to take care of a baby. I hope you feel better soon!!

Randy, glad you're feeling better my friend!

Other than that, your outlook is fairly positive, right? ;)

Hang in there, Bro. I know it sucks, but I always remind myself that no matter how bad I think I have it, someone else has it worse.

Hey Sith, sorry to hear you're feeling shitty. My Mum has MS so I know how you're suffering. She has so many pills she could open a chemist.
I'm sorry to say but the only ok way is to try look on the bright side.

One of the best nights homework we had when son was a kid was to get rid of all electronic gizmos and entertain ourselves. There was only Son and I but we played cards, we played board games and we read to each other. It was so great we did it once a week afterwards.

Even now, when Man and I want a night away we go to his place, which doesn't have tv, or heating or anything really ~ but it's just so precious to just sit and talk sometimes.

I'm sure if you're feeling that poorly your wife could cope for a while.

I do hope you feel better soon.

:( So sorry to read about this!
It's good your mom will be helping out; it's great when family comes through in tough times.

Do you know where the electrical surge came from? I don't know much about surge protectors, but that must've been a pretty bad storm or something to even fry your protector, right?

I hope you and baby are feeling better very soon.
