    That's an interesting idea in the first instance. I'd never thought of an Intrepid predecessor before.
    Your design itself, does have an Intrepid lineage about it and to my mind also harks to the Lost Era with certain features. The nacelles, the upper domes, etc.
    I like too the run through design - flat pack. A simpler, earlier version of the Intrepid design me thinks.

    Looks like to me it could be a Transport design :techman::)

    Thank you mirandafave, that's exactly what i was going for although you put it far more eloquently. MadMan1701A the Oberth nacelles were the only choice considering the size of the vessel, I just dressed them up a bit.
    kaisernathan1701 nice to hear from you. And yes the ship could function as a transport. I gave the ship double wide bay doors for duel landing or disembarkation. Though it's primary function would still be scientific.

    I quite like it... and I'm not easily impressed ;)

    I never even thought of apre-Voyager style like that.

    well like the design it seems to ft the lost era pretty well. certainly makes a change from the excelsior variants normally seen

    Very nice and with the impulse engines being that way it be easyer to install a Weopons or Sensor pod Roll Bar :)

    Made the final revisions on the low poly version. Re-scaled the bridge and built the final saucer rim. kaisernathan1701 as i am working on the Miranda version of this same ship, providing a roll bar is possible but not necessary.
