Judging from the Radio Times preview he doesn't get much more than a cameo, along with Simon Callow returning as Dickens (who's being interviewed on Breakfast Television!)

The Doctor's hair is looking much like his hair did when they interviewed Matt in the Tribute Special for Elisabeth Sladen. There were comments at the time about how different he looked. Appears they were probably filming this episode at the time.

It kind of reminds me of how Smith's hair looked when they first revealed he was the Eleventh Doctor.


Also this isn't the first time the Doctor's been in a Roman toga.
