A two-minute teaser clip from this year's Doctor Who Christmas special is to be shown during the BBC's Children in Need charity evening next month.
Viewers will see the opening moments of The Next Doctor, which again features David Tennant in the title role, alongside guest star David Morrissey.
The snippet will be broadcast on BBC One on Friday, 14 November.

I was so hoping we'd get something original.

What I really wish they'd do is one of those two minute webisodes like they used to do during the first season. A clip that wasn't actually in the episode, but was a sort of mini prologue/teaser.

^^Second season, actually, but I agree. I've been watching those on my iPod in front of each episode, and I've been really impressed by most of them (the one in front of "Army of Ghosts" is especially good). It's a shame they didn't do more.

'course whats even worse is trying to find it on YouTube amid fifty other fan-made trailers.
