Two episodes to be delayed in the U.S. due to Memorial Day

BBC America will hold back episode 6 "The Almost People" and episode 7 "A Good Man Goes To War" one week each due to the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Instead, BBCA plans to air a mini-marathon on May 28th.

Episode 6 will now air on June 4

Episode 7 now on June 11

I, for one, won't be acting all smug about Watching It Live Before Youse Guys Do.

No, really. I won't. Honest.

 

Yet another reason I'm glad I watch via alternate means.

 

And if the forecast holds, sounds like we're due for a torrential downpour this Memorial Day.

 

Bad.

Although it's better than waiting two months, or however long we had to wait last season.

 

I would like to welcome our American friends to the real world, this is how people outside of the USA see your shows.

 

Last year, they were one week behind (until a certain point, then they became two weeks behind).

 

I've already been using alternative methods since I am too impatient to wait even a few hours.

 

Then TPTB will get upset with that bit of weather and will refuse to accept that they were responsible for the flood to begin with.

 

Screw that. I'll go back to my old habits for a couple weeks!

 

Alternate means are cool.

 

Fight the power or least until said power becomes reasonable.

Wait, what? Isn't episode 5 the first of a two-parter? So they'll be showing part one, and then part two won't be shown for three more weeks (with two Saturdays between them)? What kind of sense does that make?

 

It doesn't which is why I have a key to the alternate means room.
